Kelio lays the first stone of its future building in Cholet

Written in

On the 9th of July 2025, Kelio, leading HR and Payroll software publisher  , marked a new milestone in their   history in Cholet: the foundation stone of the third building was laid on the campus. With an investment of €10 million, this project aims to accommodate 300 new employees by 2027, a strong symbol of their  ambition for the coming years.

A growing campus for a growing company

After passing the €100 million turnover milestone, Kelio continues to expand. This new building, named Kelio 3, is an extension of their 7-hectare campus, established in Cholet since 2001. Aligned with their mindset, it offers modern, spacious, and environmentally conscious workspaces for their teams.

4,700 m² designed with people in mind

Kelio 3 has been carefully designed to welcome up to 300 employees while minimizing environmental impact with its four floors, 4,700 m² of office space, 1,600 m² semi-underground car park and trident-inspired architecture to limit ground coverage.

The new building will be located right next to the Otium, the facility designed for employees’ well-being featuring a nap room, a library, sports fields, and a fully equipped common room. All future employees will benefit from these infrastructures made to improve the quality of working life.

Representatives of the Pays de la Loire regional council were also present in the person of Isabelle Leroy, Vice-President for Culture and Sport, and Constance Nebbula, Vice-President for Digital and AI.

“This project reflects our attachment to Cholet and our commitment to innovation, environmental responsibility, and the well-being of our teams. It also represents our ambition to continue hiring passionate talents in a modern and stimulating work environment." Éric Ruty, managing director of Kelio

A responsible and sustainable approach

The Kelio 3 project is fully aligned with their green strategy. The former structure was dismantled and not demolished to allow for material reuse: the framework, insulation, doors, and more than 1,165 tons of reinforced concrete will be repurposed.

The new building will feature 526 solar panels, contributing to a campus-wide total of 2,800 m² of photovoltaic surface, which will eventually cover over a third of Kelio’s electricity needs.

A strategic project anchored in the region

With over 650 employees today, Kelio is one of the key employers in the Cholet area. This new building reinforces their local roots, while supporting their international growth through six subsidiaries in Europe and a network of 50 global distributors. They  currently equip over 20,000 organizations across 70 countries.

By the end of 2025, 70 new positions will be open: developers, software consultants, help desk officers, and more. Recruitment is already underway.
